Southeastern Native Plant ID Database
A recommended resource for anyone trying to identify native or naturalized plants of the southeastern United States. They have over 1,020 species and great photographs – over 14,000 of them – to help you identify native plants. While the database covers trees, shrubs, vines and herbaceous plants I have found that it is mostly wildflowers so far but they are growing.
You can search the database by selecting a few traits about a specimen from a drop down list and the results are presented in thumbnail image form. Quite handy and worth a bookmark! Visit them at Southeastern Floral Plant ID Database.
