This is an excellent native plant resource put out by the North Carolina Native Plant Society. You can search by plant type, i.e. tree, shrub, fern, evergreen, etc or bloom time by month, light sun/shade requirements and water needs. Please give them a visit and find the perfect native plant for any spot in your garden. I’ve used them extensively searching for bee food source plants for those off months when little is in flower.
