Woo hoo! Georgia Perimeter College Native Plant Botanical Gardens is starting up their spring plant sales. For anyone in Georgia this plant sale is well worth the visit. Last spring I filled an SUV with native shrubs for about $100 – and I mean stuffed an SUV. Wish that I had had a bigger truck. Their selection of native azaleas was outstanding, and I was able to get viburnums, fringe trees, chokeberries and a much adored parsley hawthorn…gah I don’t even recall what-all. They also had a good selection of native perennials but I was all about foundation plants last year. This year I hope to find ferns. Just go go go if you can.
